Hello everyone, does anyone know when the final budgets are going to be made? I know the CPD don't have the contract finalized yet and hear that could take up to February. I'm wondering because I've been through the testing process and finished in the 90 band. So I'm really interested in the next academy class. I talk to officers about every other day and have heard all the rumors but really hope they have a july class. I hope like in years past the FOP finds a bag of money for the CPD

Final budget is determined in Febuary after review of the mayor's budget. According to their website.

Well I hope after the FOP gets this contract behind them that they find money for a class in 2009. I don't think its a good idea to mandate 6 day work weeks for the officers.
