NYPD exams

I was looking on the NYPD recruit site, and they didn't mention anything about the walk in exams. Are they given less priority than the scheduled ones?

I'm going to be taking the walk-in exam sometime in January (either the 9th or 10th), anyone have any tips or anything? I took the online test on their website and it didn't seem very hard at all. I'm also guessing I should arrive 30mins or so before the test time they list? I'm going to be coming into Manhattan by way of the WTC PATH station, I don't have a map in front of me and I haven't been in Manhattan in four years but that Lafayette street location is walkable from the PATH station isn't it?

I'm taking the walk-in exam on either Monday or Tuesday so I can let you know what to expect.

As far as walking from the WTC train station, here's the route you should take to 2 Lafayete St., the address of where the walk-in exam is at.

The building is has a sign that says 2 street. Bring your ID and they have metal detector so try not to wear to much things that have metal because you have to take it off. The test is very simple and yes arrive 30min ahead of time so you can get the formed filled out. Good Luck Botto and JdotB.
