Just wanted to say hello to all the other rookies out there. Yesterday I graduated from the New South Wales Police Academy in Australia along with 295 others. I look forward to hearing from others around the world. Stay safe, and Merry Christmas.
Congratulations on your graduation O R http://www.officer.com/ubb/cool.gif Just remember what you learned in the academy, when you find out (in most cases) that the street is a bit different http://www.officer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Stay safe.

It's like my first training officer told me OZ, "everything you learned in the academy is not of use to you here, throw it away, and let me teach you the right way."
Good luck
But, but but that's not the way they told us in the academy! http://www.officer.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Congratulations rookie, and remember the NGBC rule...What? They didn't teach you the NGBC rule in the academy?! http://www.officer.com/ubb/eek.gif Ok, I'll fill you in- now remember what I'm about to tell you is almost as important as wearing your vest for street survival. Congratulations on becoming a Probationary Constable Rookie ! I hope you enjoy the job as much as I do.
By the way, if during the next few weeks you see a Red Falcon S pack with Tassie Plates and it's going like there is a copper driving it, say Hi.
Don't forget what they taught you about operational safety !
