In the state of Illinois there is this thing like ROTC for cops. It is run out of Western Illinois University. It gives the participants $28,000 after they graduate from WIU and complete training. They also have to stay at the town they are assigned to for 4 years. The grant came from that goal Clinton had to get 100,000 new officers on the streets.
Has anyone heard about this program or what it is like. Better yet has anyone participated in it?
