Access to driving records.

In Florida, who can access a persons driving records? We drove down to Tampa to visit for Thanksgiving. My brother in law went to rent a car in Lake Worth to drive up here also. The rental car company denied him a car based on his driving record.

1) I did not think they had access to that info.

2) It is especially stupid as his tickets were for tint and loud exhaust. I guess they are afraid he was going to pimp out their car. lol

Florida has one of the most broad Public Records laws in the US. Pretty much anyone can find out anything.

I never said any business can't deny services to a person. I just think they did so for a stupid reason. Eh, no skin off my nose. I was just curious about the records access.
