I have a top of the line, BRAND NEW, still sealed in platic wrap, Protech Armored Products rifle plate. This would be great if you are trying to set up an active shooter kit.
It is a Model PSA-4C-9812 Stand Alone Level IV. It is a stand alone Level IV plate which means you do NOT need to use it in conjunction with level IIIa soft armor. This will take multiple ARMOR PIERCING ROUNDS hits. It is rated for 7.62mm NATO 148 gr. FMJ at 2780 fps and .30 Cal. AP rounds at 2850 fps. Its Boron Carbide/Aramid composite multi-curve plate covered in denier black Cordura It is a size Large, and measure the same as a 10x12 plate. It is EXTREMELY light weight, weighing in at just over 5 lbs. These sell for over $1200 a pop as seen here (http://www.ombexpress.com/product~sku~AR141.asp). I'll take $350 shipped OBO for it.
