The Village of Arlington Heights population 75,000 seeks highly qualified Police Officer candidates to complement our Police Department. The Police Department has 83 sworn Officers.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or 60 semester hours from an accredited institution, U.S. Citizen, valid drivers license, 21 years old by date of written exam – Maximum age under 35 years unless the age limit is reached after being placed on an Eligibility List. Persons currently employed in the capacity of a police officer may be exempt from these limits. Vision correctable to 20/20 in both eyes and pass medical exam including drug screening.

Superior benefit package and pension plan.
Starting salary $37,911 with pay increase every 6 months for first 3 years.
Top pay $58,812 attained in 4.5 years.
