PORT OF PASCO CHIEF OF POLICE/SECURITY TRI-CITIES AIRPORT The Port of Pasco has an immediate opening at the Tri-Cities Airport for a Chief of Police/Security position. Duties include supervision of Port of Pasco Law Enforcement Officers; enforcement of Port District, State and designated Federal laws; and responsible for the security access system of secured and non-secured areas of the airport, issuance of identification access media, record keeping and monitoring and of the access program. In addition to managerial and office skills, applicants with current Washington State Law Enforcement Certification are encouraged to apply. A degree in police science or related field, plus five years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and training, will be considered. The ability to direct and lead law enforcement personnel and security access activities is required. Applicant must prepare and implement department policy including but not limited to, budget, scheduling, personnel guidelines and transportation security.
