Anyone have any experience with Sac PD academy? Im thinking about attending.

Judging from the quality of their graduates it must be a decent program. I know they do their firearms and driving at the CHP academy.

You'll be immersed in the Sac PD culture and it will give you a head start in their hiring process.

I graduated from Sac PD academy in 2000. I went as a free agent and ended up getting picked about half way through by a Bay Area Agency where I stiill work. It is a considered a tough academy according to my LE buddies. I got in fantastic shape there through the ACB and PT courses. The enviornment is strict but not mean spirited.
