A High School Diploma or GED Certificate. 5. Be Municipal Registry Certified (P.S.A.T.) and proof of date of certification must accompany the completed application. Examination Process: Those candidates deemed most qualified will be invited to continue in the eligibility process by the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners. This process will include an intense background investigation, oral interview, psychological and polygraph examination and pre-employment medical examination, including drug screening.
