I don't like Patterson, He was for the police in new york to if they had to use their weapon, to aim only for a suspects hands or such rather than mid center, he eventually backed out of it. Are we voting this November to replace him or does he still have time left over from Spitzer's term?

We're stuck with him... doesn't seem right considering we didn't get to vote for him. It's kind of like he gets a free pass to do what ever he wants because he is not voter elected.

I agree with you..... I'm not optimistic at all about his time in office. I think you are right he will be driving more people out of NY, upstate especially. I think we are in for some bad days ahead. I'm contemplating packing up myself.

Patterson is the son of Basil Paterson, a typical get elected and do nothing state senator.He (son) submitted yearly a bill that would require a police officer to shoot to wound and let it lawful to resist arrest. He is not a LEOs friend. Nobody, including his majesty spitzer ever thought he would ever be gov.

NY is in for bad times and it is sad to see there is some awesome places in our state..... we do not get hurricanes or tornados so to speak
and our summers are some of the best anywhere winter sucks and taxes suck but I hate to see politicians grind this great state into something none of us will recognize... it sucks
