How does this bailout effect the NYPD even though the NYPD had a new contract?

I did see on the news paper about on how much is going to cut in terms of financial's it was like in the millions.

it wont effect the contract or pay. But they could eventually have a highering freeze but i doubt that will happen.

There will also be less overtime.

The NYPD is a corporation under the NASDAQ symbol: NYPD

Shares have plummeted 176% and current price is $0.02 cents per share.

The NYPD is going to go bankrupt and therefor will be sold off to a neighboring police department unless the new government bail-out will help it regain its finances.

I shall pray tonight for the nypd and its bail-out situation. Godspeed.

NYPD moves to 'pink sheets' as no market markers will make a bid on over 100 shares.

Can anyone tell me why it's okay to file for bankrupcy before the hiring process or afterwards but not while in the process? My investigator told me that I had to hold off on it or they couldn't hire me. What's the deal with that. I would like to start a new career debt-free. I don't understand the concept behind that. If anyone is in a debt crisis right now or had this same experience, please let me know. Thanks.

Are you serious with this question? Filing for bankrupcy is BAD before, during or after!!!!! If you filed for bankrupcy, your chances of getting hired are slim to none. Its this way because you are very easily subjected to corruption (in their mind). Either way you won't be debt free anymore. If you file for bankrupcy, you will have to pay eveyrthing back but there won't be any APR.

Do you really think if you file for bankrupcy now your problems will just disappear? You better read up on it bro.

Better read the sweeping changes to the bankruptcy laws before you make that leap...it is not the free ride anymore where you stand back on your feet after a period of time.

Why not enter a career and PAY OFF THAT DEBT.

That would make a little more sense.
