This was written by an old and dear friend, back in 1981. She just sent out a new email with this in it. It's well worth the read:
Dearest Friends,
Please don't let this happen again. Our young men are heroes and when we undermine their reason for being there, or we tell them their goals and objectives are evil it only follows that they will feel the sting. Do you want to destroy another generation of heroes?
