I heard about this on NPR this morning, and laughed about it. I at first thought it might be blasphemous or trivailizing the Bible, but I don't think so.
The writer is a Christian journalist, I believe.
My favorite line I've heard or read so far:
The Three Wise Men become "three eggheads from out east" and go in search of baby Jesus. "We saw his star out east, and we've come to say 'G'day Your Majesty'."
