Mounted Police

I am wondering if there are any mounted police units in Massachusetts. I know Springfield had one but I don't think they have it any more cause I couldn't find it on their website.

If you know of one could you please PM me with the address?

Not sure of their addresses..but the Boston Police, Mass State Police and UMass Amherst Police all have mounted units....I would start with them..Good Luck.

The recent disbanding of the Boston Mounted Unit due to budget cuts was extremely saddening. Some of the officers that were reassigned had been partnered with horses for the better part of a decade.

The Plymouth County Sheriffs Office also has a mounted unit that is utilized for sepcial events.
