Fresno SO/PD

Hello.

Anyone care to share some information on either Fresno County SO or Fresno PD? I would be interested in hearing anything from current work schedule, reputation/morale, academy environment...pretty much anything anybody is willing to contribute I would appreciate as I am researching both agencies from a prospective recruit applicants perspective.

I lived in Clovis during summer of 2007 and had the opportunity to ride-along with both departments. Everyone I had contact with there were great. It seems like there are good opportunities to move around into different specialized units. I don't believe Fresno SO has a Motor Unit.

I think the Academy out there is at Fresno City College.
