OK stupid thread title, anyways now i got my first ever ticket today after living in New York for about eighteen years. I was sitting in the train and put my foot up tied my seekers and just left it there. An undercover guy stops me, nice very polite person asked for my ID he checked up on me, gave me a ticket thank for the corporation and i was on my way.

So not basically the ticket seas my wrong year of birth, would that be a way to get out of paying $50?
Just curious the real reason I'm here is to know if that will effect me as far as the hiring process goes. Will it even show up on my record that it ever happened after i pay for it.

All tickets will show up. Best bet is to inform the BI before he/she has the chance to inform you/or not.... might wait to see your level of integrity and DQ you if you say nothing.
My question is..... what was the ticket for? or did I miss something..LOL

I got the ticked on the train for basically having my feet up on the seat.
On the ticket it seas "obstruction seating "

Wow...... ummm, .... errrrr,..... no joke huh?!? That's a new one on me. Someone must of been having a bad day.
Try contesting it, that's always an option. The judge may just look cross eyed at you and dismiss it.

Wellllll.. thats transit anti-crime for you.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

You recieved a TAB summons. Did it include mail-in instructions, or did it have a court date on it?

What ID did you produce to the officer and is it marked on the summons?
