Has anyone who is in the PAPD process received notification that they were selected for the academy or know anyone who as? Any information as to when these notices may go out would be appreciated.

I would hope they would give us more than a couple of days notice. Plus, isn't there an orientation before the start of the academy?

Well, if a letter, about a week or so after the med has not been recieved - chances are we are good to go. They usually send a letter a few days after the medical if they send you home ......... now its a waiting game !

I spoke to someone who just graduated the academy in August who stated he had received notice almost exactly 2 weeks before the start. He confirmed the next academy is Oct. 14 which would mean we should be getting notice today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!
