Everyone speaks on a lot of the physical exercises that take place in the academy, but I was wondering about what type of academics take place. For example, the first few weeks what type of things do you learn? What are some of the more difficult areas when it comes to academics? Any info would help.

your going to learn the patrol guide, CPL, penal law, NYC traffic rules & regs, VTL, ABC law, evidence & procedure law, search & seizure, constitutional rights etc.

In class you actually take this stuff seriously and Try as hard as you can to rember.
But to see that stuff outside of that setting U relize how funny and Crazy it sounds.

I was just trying to get an idea of what a typical day was like. Is it usually a set schedule sort of like college, or do the days and times vary? Its just a little difficult to imagine 5 days a week of straight 9-5 classroom.......
